Asus ZenFone Zoom coming to India later this month

The Taiwanese company, Asus has confirmed that it is all set to launch ZenFone Zoom—"its most advanced photography-focused smartphone"-- in the country this month.

With its focus on DSLR-like features, the Asus ZenFone Zoom boasts a 13MP camera with a Panasonic sensor and 3x optical zoom at 28-48mm focal length, meaning you be able to focus in on things as close as a few inches away.

The Zoom also sports a 5.5-inch, 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 4 and is powered by a quad-core Intel processor, 4GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh battery.

Selfie-enthusiasts get a 5MP front-facing shooter, while Asus is touting the Zoom's 13MP camera to also include a 10-element lens created by Japanese company HOYA.

The ZenFone Zoom is set to come in 64GB or 128GB storage options, though it also supports microSD cards up to 128GB. On paper, it looks like a great camera phone and we can't wait to try its camera and report to you how it performs.

Just a couple of days ago, Asus had announced this phone globally and we are already hearing about the India launch. Asus has also now made its smartwatch available in India.
